Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the advancement of A10 Networks award winning products. Your responsibilities include designing and enhancing network applications, and providing high quality software implementations. You will participate in design, code and test plan reviews and interact with cross functional teams. Part of the job may involve providing assistance to technical support teams on an as needed basis. Investigation, research and proof of concept projects will also be part of your responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing software for network applications
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and hands-on development experience using Linux
• Experience in multi-threading, multi-core, and real-time high availability embedded systems
• Direct work experience with one of the technologies: Load balance, deep packet inspection, QoS, WAN optimization, VPN, firewall, IPS/IDS, AV, NAT, or Compression
• Expert at TCP/IP and knowledgeable with common standard IP protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, GRE, etc.
• Experience programming with one scripting language: shell, perl, tcl, python, etc.
• Solid foundation of Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 IP forwarding and routing
• Basic English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and comprehension
• Bachelor\'s degrees in computer science, engineering, physics, or math
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of IPv6
• Experience with application protocols for Peer to Peer, Instant Messaging or Video Streaming
• Experience with database systems and programming
• Experience processing and archiving of large quantities of data
• Experience programming for high scalability and performance
• Experience with high availability concepts and protocols
• Masters or PhD in computer science, engineering, physics, or math

• 至少一種 script 語言的編程經驗，如shell script ，PERL，TCL，Python等
• 熟悉網路第2層交換，第3層IP轉發和路由運作
• 深入了解IP網絡和通訊協議， 如TCP/ IP，HTTP，DNS，DHCP，NTP，SNMP，GRE等
• 具備下列專業技能(至少一項)：系統負載平衡，深度 IP 封包檢測，QoS ，廣域網優化，VPN，防火牆，IPS / IDS，防毒，NAT或 資料壓縮
• 基本英文能力
• 至少物理，計算機科學，工程或數學的學士學位
具備以下能力尤佳
• IPv6的知識
• P2P 應用協議，即時通訊軟體或視訊應用
• 資料庫系統和開發實作經驗
• 大量資料處理經驗
• 開發高擴充性和高效能的程式經驗
• 高容錯實作經驗與概念
• 具備物理，計算機科學，工程或數學的碩士或博士學位
